We will start reading the final book of the Bible, Revelation. May it be an encouragement, warning and hope to today Christians. The portion each day is not long to allow time to meditate on the message. Please feel free to share your insight and question.
Tuesday - Revelation 1: 1-8
Wednesday - Revelation 1: 9-20
Thursday - Revelation - 2: 1-17
Friday - Revelation 2: 18-29
Saturday - Revelation 3: 1-13
Next Monday - Revelation 3: 14-22

Prayer is to come before our Father with a child-like heart, helpless and singled mind. Jesus also promised that if 2-3 gather in His name, He will be in our midst. Beside the prayer meeting on the first Sunday of the month, we can gather as a small group, mother's group or just the few of us who feel the need of prayer. The parents should lead their family together to pray. You can also come to pastors for any need you would like us to pray with you. May our church be a praying church, constantly seeking the will of God in our church and in our lives.

Pray:
1. for the Session as we meet this Thursday evening, in planning and praying together.
2. for the growth of our spiritual walk.
3. for the financial need of the church, and other churches as well, in economy crisis.
4. upcoming events in Thanksgiving and Christmas time.

There will be another opportunity for hiking if you missed last Saturday one. You are encouraged to invite your friend, and their children,  to come with you. We will leave Queens on Saturday at 8am and back at 3pm.

Last night I attended a funeral for my former co-worker's 12 years old son Nicolas.  I guess the incident happened last Friday. It is not a good time to ask for detail. L is very sad. It may take a while to recover. I also met many of my good friends from my former job. Very happy to meet them again after these 6 years. Sad and happy. Only God knows our destination. Trust in the Lord for He is good!

Funeral is an occasion that does not need an invitation. Death is not invited and is not welcomed. But they all come in an unexpected times and manners, and often unprepared. Our only hope is in Christ, who has broken the power of death in His resurrection. Trusting the Lord for each day of my life.

John Piper How willingly do people go to hell? Does anyone stand by the lake of fire and jump in? http://ow.ly/xdKq

Someone asked: "an excellent way to understand about free will. It is by our ignorance....still though is it really a choice? can we choose our nature?? can we choose to be Good all the time?? or as you said we end up choosing sin."
"Why doesn't God lead everyone to a way to do good. Then we will all choose good?"
